Score and confirm a match

Before play

1. You need to be an official, a director or an organiser of the tournament, and the tournament must be running.
2. Open the match from the court board or “Event day”, then “Start match” and choose who serves.

Record, review and confirm

1. Tap the side that wins each rally. “Undo last point” takes back a mistake.
2. Points are kept on your phone first and sent in the background, so a slow connection never holds up play.
3. At the end, check the score and submit it. A submitted score is not final until someone confirms the winner.
4. If you only have the final score, choose “Enter the final score instead”.
5. Walkover, retirement and disqualification are recorded by an organiser or director. An official can give a walkover when a side is past its late-arrival deadline, from the match’s “Late arrival”.

If your connection drops

1. Keep scoring. The points stay on this phone and are sent when the connection returns.
2. If the page says the points were refused, choose “Send again now”. If the match was scored elsewhere meanwhile, choose “Discard the points on this device”.
3. Do not switch phones mid-match: the unsent points are only on the first one.
